The playground is designed for children of all abilities and is located in The Heritage Park of Flower Mound. Construction on Fort Wildflower took place September 11-15, 2012. The success of this project depended upon the support of the volunteers and sponsors of our community. The many ways in which you helped, included fundraising, construction, food service, and more, and made for a very successful build!

Work continues with on the list of items for the completion of the playground and significant progress continues to be made. The dedication of Heritage Park and Fort Wildflower is planned for 10am on Saturday, October 20, at Heritage Park.
Tools Return
We had a good day on Saturday, September 22nd, and most tools that you so generously loaned have been returned. We have called and sent emails to those who left contact information for the remaining tools we have. Thank you again!

Heritage Park

Heritage Park is the Town’s upcoming 94-acre signature park, located at the northwest corner of Garden Ridge Boulevard and Spinks Road. The park, when complete, will include multi-use trails, an amphitheater, a duck pond, nature signage, benches, picnic areas, restrooms, parking spaces, a botanical garden, scenic overlooks, a service area with greenhouses and an outdoor classroom. It will also feature a disc golf course, skate park, dedicated conservation area, dog park, and open space for play.
